Heh, this. I layer shirts allll the time and I'm neither lesbian nor butch. I was under the impression it was a fairly common style. But can't help lol'ing at your choice of style inspiration, not because I think it's a bad choice but because it's so unexpected.

Yeah, me neither. I thought it was just a style, you know? Plus, the butch lesbians I've known never layered clothes like that, so there was some confusion on my end.

Well, Capsule Monsters was on 4kids, and my bros and I watched it together, and I thought Joey was cool. Um. Yeah. >_>;

Oh, I used to LOVE the style of clothes the characters wore in that series (my own personal style has since moved more to the boho, so it's not that I dislike the clothes from YGO, just taht they're not my style anymore.) On a tangential note, my sister used to mock me for watching YGO years ago. Then last week I came into her room and found her watching Capsule Monsters. The only explanation she gave me was "it's better than Babar," which I suppose can't be denied but still seems rather a weird explanation lol.

Most of my fashion choices since I was in middle school have been inspired by some anime character or another. At least Zoro and Luffy wear normal clothes, I'm surprised that my mother let me out of the house sometimes. :\

I love Oda's sense of style. I really wish some of the t-shirts he drew on his characters were real. Hell, I wish Doskoi Panda and Crimin were real fashion labels
