I actually like Jim Henson and Monty Python, but this movie just did nothing for me. I had a real hard time really liking any of the characters, some parts just really seemed to come out of left-field in a bad way, and also the whole ballroom scene between Bowie and the girl was just kind of... odd. She seemed way too young for him, but there was really supposed to be a chemistry between them I guess? idk.

Ballroom scene was symbolic. It's an adult place, yet she;s still a child. She's growing up, and the king represents temptation in a way. By conquering him in the end she;s able to give up her childhood, and start to grow up in her own way.
