I'll buy that when people there stop making disgusting comments about the characters they don't like , JKR herself, and the fans who don't agree with them, and then turn around and cry oppression when they get called on it. There is a lot ob BS on all sides I'll agree with that, but when deathtocapslock people decide things like, people who don't hate the books like they do are brainwashed "JKR Dittoheads." I'd gladly stick to my own crowd than put up with that shit.

It seems, anon, that you're suffering from a very common illness that's swept the Potter Fandom. It doesn't quite have a name yet, but they're thinking of calling it "Distortia Generalis". It's when the image of the worst example of an X/Y shipper/house member/character fan becomes all you see and hear in anyone similar.

I myself have the same problem, where X/Y is Ron/Hermione, but I keep it in check by keeping several R/Hr fans on my friends' list so that whenever I do see (or think I see) a rude R/Hr fan, I can look at my friends and think "No, that's just one person, and they don't represent everyone".

JFC, it seems lately everybody has to make up a super special name for everything. And by the way, who is this elusive "they"? Because I've never seen/heard that bullshit "phrase" you just spouted.

And before you pull any MORE super special made up names out of your ass, it's called judging a group by the Vocal Minority (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VocalMinority) [warning: TV Tropes link]. But then again that's probably too many syllables and spaces for you to take the time to type, and it just doesn't have that pretentious pseudo-intellectual ring to it that your bullshit phrase does.
