Okay, well, that's... I feel like it's a bit creepy maybe, depending on what you changed, but it's not OMG terrible or horrifying or anything and I don't really get why you would feel that guilty. You're not showing it to other people or making fun of the author or pretending you wrote the whole thing or whatever. You're okay. A little strange, possibly, but okay.
