...You just have an attraction to men wearing large triangular metal objects on their heads.

[identity profile] dots.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, whatever the hell is in that last picture is pretty hideous. Just imho.

maybe it is but it works most of the time.

I think it might be because big boobs are really objectified in the media and whatnot...?

Maybe it's because men are all like "HURR :B" about big breasts. It can be really degrading in certain respects.

[identity profile] powercorrupts.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
But this doesn't explain why I'm attracted to Voldemort!

(Anonymous) 2007-07-13 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
lol i'm thinking you guys haven't seen ghost in the shell:sac all the way through where she's the head of a cyber swat team and wears a corset and not mch else to work. heavily influenced by hentai. she's there for men to beat off to

not a good cap, sorry

[identity profile] sarajayechan.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Knee-jerk reaction to the "I feel superior to other fangirls" bit, sorry.

[identity profile] militarypenguin.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I had to squint to make out the image of the face because I first thought it was two unknown characters going at it.

[identity profile] allira-dream.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I've been sort of guilty of indulging on that before. Not so much, it's more of trying to write a popular pairing just to see what's the big deal... and then it's liked and it's very confusing.

Of course, that was when I was pretty new to fandom. Now if I'm aware of how popular a couple is, I'll go and write the complete opposite just to spite people.

and then it's still liked and underground popular. je le fail! [/fake french]

[identity profile] militarypenguin.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
You have an attraction to severely deformed men always stalking down the hero?

[identity profile] crackjaw.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, okay then. It's just there have been secrets before decrying fangirls who like to be fashionable, so I'm really perplexed.

[identity profile] allira-dream.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Ralph Fiennes' voice and evil brand of batshit

[identity profile] lorei.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
1. I wish I could believe this secret ):

5. I love clothes. I love fandoms. I'm superior how, now? (I mean, it's a cut above kids who wear the same dirty anime shirt for months on end. But if a fangirl wants to dress uniquely-strangely, or spend her money on DVDs over new clothes? What's wrong with that?)

10. I see where you're coming from, but it's still a bad reason.

19. That's like me and Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom!

23. 'Look at me, I am so tolerant of ugly characters, I even like Lexaeus!', that trend? XD; I'm glad that you liked him before it was popular, though. (I never cared about him, or Vexen, or Zexion, and that will never change :D)

Re: 13,

[identity profile] zoom-gas.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
oh fuck i made a spelling error
ALERT THE MEDIA

[identity profile] forchancookie.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
2. I've been told he's the ultimate symbol of sexual repression....that and people just have weird tastes *shrugs*

7. And this would be why I never touched that fandom. Love the series, but sometimes you just have to stay away to stay sane.

9. Receptionist *heart*

14. Wai! Man, that series is like GW, all the pilots can be slashed with all the other pilots or candidates. And if het or yuri's your thing, that's what the Repairers are there for! XD

21. Yaoi fangirl here. Can't say I totally agree. Mostly cause I can't read bad shitfics. If it's crack and decently written, sure I'll go for it, but crappy ass song fics and the other bad stuff, just can't tolerate it. And as much as I like the hot guys getting it on, sometimes that's not what I'm there for *gasps* I know! Sometimes I want like plot and character development and stuff. Shit! What's wrong with me?!

Well you gotta admit that his abs in the movie were something. Think the Spartans from 300 and just imagine them all with triangular helmets on to get the idea.

[identity profile] nanakibh.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
2. I UNDERSTAND IT.
14. Oh man. What ever happened to that series?
19. Some of the worst fanon of ANY series. D: I totally remember...
25. Naruto became so predictable it's painful.

(Anonymous) 2007-07-13 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Mostly everything done by Japanese animators is 'heavily influenced by hentai', why the hell do you think almost every female in an anime has big knockers? For men to beat off to.

21

[identity profile] ex-parle.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Amen to that, too.

6.

[identity profile] ricekrispi.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha. Each set of twins remind me of the other. x)

Amen!

[identity profile] ex-parle.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I never got the point of song fics. Pointless, really. But YEAH. Yaoi fanboy here. D: Sometimes plot and character development makes it, honestly, hotter.

[identity profile] offensive.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
...Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

He was in that pot that one time? That's metal and...not triangular shaped BUT IT WAS METAL.

[identity profile] otilu.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, hells yes.

Listing just the strong women who aren't medical-nin to some degree that I can think of immediately: Yugito, Anko, Tayuya, Kin, TenTen and Temari. That's a 50% survival rating. Compared to 100% of female medical ninja surviving. Apparently healing people increases your life expectancy, or at least means that you are on THE SIDE OF GOOD and are not EVIL or DESERVING OF DEATH. >__>

5. Congratulations, Miss Middle School. I hope you're proud of yourself for wasting tons of money to stay trendy. ♥

I'm going to do what I do to everyone I know in real life who does that: *laughs at you in the face*

Yeah, guess what? I dress decently and love fashion too. As do my friends So liking anime = being complete loser? Thanks for the judgement.

PS - Asian fashion kicks western fashion's butt.

7. IAWTC. Honestly? I hate Wolfram and I treat him like any other idiot anime girl who acts like that. I think if anything else, his existence proves that fandom is incredibly misogynistic.

21. OOOMGGGG. Well, not about the mpreg and songfics and otherstuff, but yeah. STFU losers. Rabid yaoi fangirl and proud of it, dammit.
