If it's crack and decently written, sure I'll go for it, but crappy ass song fics and the other bad stuff, just can't tolerate it. Listing just the strong women who aren't medical-nin to some degree that I can think of immediately: Yugito, Anko, Tayuya, Kin, TenTen and Temari. That's a 50% survival rating. Compared to 100% of female medical ninja surviving. Apparently healing people increases your life expectancy, or at least means that you are on THE SIDE OF GOOD and are not EVIL or DESERVING OF DEATH. >__>
