Can't say much about Lexaeus' case since I try not to get too involved in KH2, but the way I've seen it from other fandoms is that many of these fans are sort of the attitude of 'I'M SO AWESOME! INSTEAD OF GOING FOR YOUR BISHOUNEN, I'M STICKING TO THE UGLY CHARACTER! THUS I WIN'.

G-gets kind of annoying when people think you're of the same mentality.
