Been there, done that ;)

It's fun!

(Anonymous) 2012-04-10 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
... I would not do that at work. A little known-fact: usually computers at workplaces (and schools) are connected, meaning someone can look at what you're looking at from another computer screen. Like your IT department or your boss.

Unless of course your computer is private and uses a private network.

I hear ya!
Same here...

[identity profile] vivalana.livejournal.com 2012-04-10 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Damn girl, I hope you don't use your work computer for that. That's what smartphones are for!

(Anonymous) 2012-04-10 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I would but too risky for me tbh. The management looks at our internet history log which you can't delete. Watch out.

And I snicker every time my colleagues talk about some sexual topic and and they think I have no idea what they're talking about. Like last week when they had a odd ass conversation about how blindfolding was so kinky and finding out what rimming meant..Like please are you kidding me..

Oh God. Been there, done that.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-11 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
Ahahah! That's hilarious! I have a colleague who knows EVERYTHING about my interests in fandoms and kinks and similar stuff (and I know hers), and every time in the office we all talk about sexual topics I always exchange knowing glances with her... :D

Oh dear Lord, that picture lol

I was *such* a good student in high school because I took such great notes!

Thankfully no one could read my handwriting.

Else they would've realized I was writing porn in the middle of class.

:D

[identity profile] jessicamariek.livejournal.com 2012-04-11 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
Replace "high school" with "boring college electives" and I could've written this comment. Best way to get through a boring class - Pick a kink, pick a pairing, READY SET GO. :P

[identity profile] philstar22.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
This is me, except that I used my computer to type notes and was more often reading than writing porn (though that happened too). Thankfully, I was capable of doing both and could still have decent notes.

[identity profile] nyxelestia.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I actually took pretty damn good notes, too - I'm famous for my good notes, actually. I just do the notes in legible handwriting and my not-notes :P in not-legible handwriting. So far my teachers have noticed my notes and opted to just ignore the second notebook that is usually on my desk. :D

[identity profile] jessicamariek.livejournal.com 2012-04-11 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
My coworkers sometimes ask me how I manage to stay so smiley during a shift. I don't have the heart to tell them it's a combo of reading filthy filthy fic on my breaks (hurrah smartphones! And hurrah kindles!) and head-writing filthy filthy fic when there's a slow moment. They aren't of the opinion that I'm anywhere near a "good girl", but I don't think they realize just HOW fixated I can be. XD

[identity profile] cheekypo.livejournal.com 2012-04-11 07:32 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sooo glad to know that I'm not the only one who reads fics (smutty fics, especially) at work...
I also have a very bad workspace: everybody in the office can pass behind me and see what I'm doing (like right now!). So I copy and paste the text I want to read in a wordpad file, I squeeze it till it's just two/three lines thick, and I put it at the very bottom of the monitor, so it looks like I'm working, but I'm definitely not. :D
I often fear that our IT office is actually controlling what we are doing... But then I realize I don't really care!

Please do your job. My mother once worked on a project (a revision of a badly outdated curriculum) which ended up achieving nothing because two public servants only pretended to do what they were paid to.
