Haymitch didn't even technically kill that one tribute. He was clever enough to use the force field around the arena to his advantage, but when it comes down to it SHE threw an axe at his head and he ducked. So yeah, I'm also having a hard time seeing where he's a bad guy but Katniss isn't.

He was able to take out two tributes with his knife, but the third Career tribute got him and was about to slit his throat until he was shot in the back with a poison dart."

That last fight wasn't the only one he had in the Arena.

Regardless, my point remains--Haymitch kills two Career tributes in what was most likely self-defense. Katniss also kills in self-defense. Why does the OP think Katniss is great and Haymitch is morally reprehensible?
