When you give your money to a stranger (which we all are) on the internet, it is no longer your money. It is their money, and they can do whatever they like with their money.

I never give money to strangers on the Internet anyway, so that point is moot. Because it IS my money, not theirs.

But I definitely wouldn't give money to some stranger on the Internet if she was going to have an abortion with it. Nothing personal, I wouldn't give them money if they wanted a new handbag, computer, or some crack either. I MIGHT give them a bit of money if they needed some for, like, appendicitis surgery, and I knew them well enough but for random shit? Fuck no, I worked hard to get where I am, and I didn't get there by giving people free stuff.

Nope, it's still fraud. They collected the money under false pretenses.

You might have a point if they were in need of a computer part, then suddenly needed an abortion, but this was deliberate deception.
