You pay taxes don't you?

That's your money being used for someone else's problems.

What you're objecting to is your money being used for someone else's problems that you don't agree with.

Not the same thing.

I do pay taxes, but that's only because the government will arrest me if I don't. But some of the money I pay in taxes go toward things that benefit me, like roads. Public schools help to educate the next generation, so that's good, and we all need things like fire departments.

But I don't WANT to pay for other people's shit. They're not me, they have no connection to me- why should I give the money I busted my ass to earn to them for whatever they wanted? Some woman wanting an abortion does not affect me in any way- I don't give a fuck what happens to her. It sounds harsh, but hey, I didn't get where I am today by being all sunshine and rainbows. I got my money through a combination of being ruthless and avaricious, and partly through being in the right place at the right time.

But you know what I never did? I never lied about this kind of shit to get what I wanted. I might not be a good person, but I'm not a double-crossing weasel like the OP. I'm just a weasel. Did I fudge the truth when it could benefit me? Sure. That's just business. But I never just bald-faced liar liar pants on fire lied like the OP did, especially not with something as charged as this involved.

So congrats, OP, you made me retch in disgust. That's not something just anyone can do.

What's the difference between fudging the truth and lying then?

Duh. When ayrt lied, it was just business! And it got them lots of money! Unlike OP, who is just a poor slut who thought she deserved a say in what happens to her body.

I never lied about anything big like this- when I stretched the truth it never would have resulted in major loss of money like what the OP did. I'm not going to reveal my secrets here, but I'll tell you one thing- NOTHING I ever lied about in my career would have resulted in a net monetary loss/gain of more than $5-$10. And everything I did was for the good of the company- any personal benefit I got from it was a side effect- albeit one that I actively planned out to get.

Like I said, I'm not exactly a good person, but I'm nowhere near as slimy as the OP.

But there's a huge difference between paying taxes, which we all do, and electively donating money to something.

abortion is a health issue and a human right and electing to give money or other wise to it shouldn't be an option. It should be part of a taxpayer-supported universal health care system. I think the OP just cut out the middle man.

What the OP did was cut out her supporters choice in the matter and committed fraud.

If you think that someone needs the insurance money from their house, you don't get to burn it down so you can cut out the middle man.
