Have any of the people bitching and moaning about KS and how much they hate her actually seen her in anything but Twilight? Because she acted before that movie, and she was actually pretty good.

I would imagine it's pretty difficult to act well when what you're acting is utter dreck.

I've seen her in three non-Twilight movies and hated her in all of them (they were Adventureland, The Runaways, and Zathura, in case you're wondering).

I've seen her in Speak, In the Land of Women, Into the Wild, (apparently Jumper?) and the Twilight films. I thought she was great in Speak, but I soon realized that, much like Hayden Christensen, she only acts one way. She might be good at doing that one thing, but it gets a bit tiring, and I think that shows a lack of skill, to be honest. You can describe her acting in a set of sighs, hand motions, and facial expressions that she goes through randomly throughout her performance.

That said, I don't really mind her. To me she's like the female Michael Cera.

Well said! Comparisons to Hayden Christensen and Michael Cera are very apt. She is rather... one-dimensional. If that one dimension fits the role in question, great! If not... *shrug*

Ah, that guy. I think i've only seen him in one thing. I remember KS from this movie with Jodie Foster, she played her daughter who was diabetic....that was the first time I saw her in a movie. That and 'The Runaways', which was very cool.

The movie with Jodie Foster was Panic Room, I believe? The book was much better.

she was fucking awesome in The Runaways. Like, awesome. I was shocked.

I really liked her in that, too - it was a cool movie all the way 'round. I have no clue how 'true' it was, but it was great!
