She's literally there for two minutes (tied to a chair needing to be rescued, naturally), it's mentioned that she's his wife, she found him wandering around naked after coming out of the lake, and then married him. No, really. Then she's never mentioned again. Even when Cas gets committed to a mental hospital, no one thinks to tell her. And considering how the show's been going lately, I won't be surprised if she's never mentioned again.

To be honest, I don't think many people did? I saw a fuckload of people expressing frustration and distaste at the situation and shitty writing, but not the character herself. She's more or less a nonentity in the show and the fandom, sadly.

She actually seemed quite nice to me, and Cas was clearly fond of her; it appears she was very kind to him. There's so much we don't know, though, that there's no telling what kind of marriage it was or whether she's what she appeared to be or what.

I don't get the hate being talked about, either - I couldn't even remember who it was until i read comments.

I'm leaning toward her being an angel in disguise that they sent to keep an eye on Castiel.
