Or did they meet as kids, go through some intense, life-threatening situations that deepened their friendship and forced them to rely on each other and know each other in ways that most people never do and then get married later as people older than 12 and 14?
How is that pedophilia? Plenty of people marry people they've known since they were kids.

I think it's more like a lot of fans aren't attracted to Aang and therefore don't believe that Katara should be.
