Zuko/Mai was boring because all they did was either fight about petty bullshit or make out. There was literally nothing else to the ship. It was slapped together without any development at all, and it didn't receive any afterward. It just kind of sat there like a stick in the mud until it was convenient to the plot.

And I actually liked the ship until canon got to it. Now I only ship it for fanon, because the way it was handled on-screen was some of the shittiest romance writing I've ever seen.
