I have to have bras in two different sizes. And I can't wear underwire period. Thankfully, I don't seem to wear them out too fast. But then, I buy the ones with more coverage rather than the lacy ones or the ones that only cover half the breast. I'll take comfort over sexy any day.

DD or D with no underwire?
What is this magic

I found this one bra at JC Pennys that supports without wire. It isn't what one would call sexy. It has elastic and covers completely. But it is really comfortable. I can never find wire bras that fit right.

Have you ever tried sports bras? They're very comfortable and most of them don't have underwire.

I've had sports bras before but I rarely wear them because I bought them for exercising and they didn't really hold anything in place, which is what they're supposed to do (keep your breasts from flopping around while you're running, etc.). Also they tend to squish the boobs together in the middle, rather than separate them which is what I want.

I call this the uniboob, and it is extremely unflattering which is why I don't rock the sports bras for everyday bra-age myself.

Sport bras are very constricting for busty ladies, even in your correct size. And even if they don't constrict the bust, they dig into the shoulders. I have shoulder problems to begin with, which are aggravated by a big chest, which is even worse with sport bras.

ohhh the shoulder dig. I like wearing sports bras for the support (the lulu lemon tata tamer" (http://shop.lululemon.com/products/clothes-accessories/women-sports-bras/Ta-Ta-Tamer-31503) is the goddess of sports bras, I wear nothing else) but the shoulder dig! On top of that the dig gives me bacne which hurts more when it chafes. Ick.

Also, if you don't like underwires, definitely try and find a bra with padding around the bottom rim (where the underwire would normally be). I have a couple of those and they're very comfortable.
