Tbh, I'm getting to where I find it hilarious at how many people act so offended that Benedict Cumberpatch's face exists, and how they get even more riled up when people have the audacity to find him attractive.

IKR?! Also regardless of whether one finds him attractive or not I don't understand why everyone acts like looking cute is a a requirement. I mean people constantly whine about how there is too much emphasis on good looks on tv/movies and it creates an unrealistic expectation and bla bla bla cry cry cry...then somebody who could be perceived as "unnattractive" is cast in a lead role and everybody whines he's not pretty, wtf?!

Yeah also don't get why people find it so offensive that people are attracted to him, there is no rule book on whats attractive and whats not.

It's a reaction to the CONSTANT posting of this guy's face EVERYWHERE. Whether the post is about Sherlock or not, his fans have managed to take over everything on LJ and Tumblr lately. Some of us are tired of everything being hijacked, and so we have a reaction. It isn't really about what he looks like, it's about how fucking obnoxious his fans are.

And that goes double for Hiddleston.

I can understand being overexposed to fandom things so I have some sympathy, but if you choose to call him ugly or weird-looking and say "how can people find him attractive??" then you are making it about his looks. It's fine to be irritated but it's not Cumberpatch's fault that fans post his face everywhere, so I'm not really gonna feel bad for you if resort to insulting his looks as a response to what other people do.
