America is the standard for all that is right and normal! Nothing else exists or should exist, if you are different you're "perverted".

Actually, in more than half the states in the U.S. it is legal for sixteen year olds to have sex (though charges of statutory can be filed if one person is eighteen or older). The reason most of our culture is focused on eighteen being the legal age of consent is because that is what it is in California where most of our movies are made.
