Excellent. I am just made so angry every time I hear/read that women get intimidated into complying with this kind of garbage thinking.

That, and buying into the whole "what you choose to wear is up for adverse comment by the whole world" shtick. Seriously, too many people seem to have missed the vital "mind your own business" part of their upbringing, and the "if you can't say something positive" principle.

Maybe it's age speaking (terribly over 50 here), but my reaction to an adverse comment on my clothes would be a hard stare and a "and I should care about your ignorant opinion because...?" if needed for follow up. YMMV.
