Not the person you replied to, but honestly, I wish her anger was better written and that she wasn't held back in so many other ways as a character, because I like that she's still angry about stuff from season one. Someone should still be angry about stuff from season one. Like, that time less than a year ago when Damon murdered a bunch of people and repeatedly raped her other best friend, tortured and murdered an innocent teenage girl, and eventually went on to murder her best friend's brother and then everyone forgave him? Yeah, someone should be mad about that stuff, and someone should be pointing out how dangerous it is to let that supernatural shit into all their lives, given how many have died as a direct result of it.

Exactly. I agree that it should've been written better and with more consistency, but I could say the same for many characterization points on this show, so I basically accept whatever glimpse we get of Bonnie's continued anger at/acknowledgement of the horrible things Damon has done and of the danger he still poses. Unfortunately because the show requires Damon's continued existence and the writers want to paint him as a 'romantic lead', Bonnie isn't allowed to deal with him when he hurts someone or refuse to work with him because it usually means saving Elena/her other friends. And that applies to Katherine and Stefan, as well. At least with Klaus and the Originals, we've seen Bonnie make attempts to kill them because of the threat they pose.

I don't mind that she's angry, but it should be done better than "oh, I'm mad at you all, but I'll help, because a human might die and that would be bad BUT DON'T FORGET I'M STILL MAD AND BITTER ABOUT IT OKAY."

TBH the only reason I'm not angry about what Damon and Stefan and their supernatural posse have done is because I know it's not worth it...I don't love the show enough to expend useless energy being mad about something that's never gonna be addressed properly. I learned my lesson with SPN.
