And I don't find my shipping rants stupid. I wanted comfort. I wanted advice on how do deal with you guys so I posted seeing that help. Suddenly I'm wrong for doing so? It affects me. Still affects me. Last damned week my name was posted due to that theory secret I didn't make. I keep being dragged into this and it's emotionally depressing. None of you every think of what it's doing to me.

The "victim" isn't just expressing her discontent. She constantly attacks others over shit that happened a year ago and whines for asspats as a substitute for the therapy she so desperately needs. If she wants to be left alone, all she needs to do is shut up. It's really that simple.

I've found the quickest way to "make" someone shut up about something is to give them what they need. Say, "Yeah, that's really upsetting. I see what you're talking about", and then you move on. Give some validation; show some empathy. That's often all the person wants, anyway. It costs you nothing. And if an end to the drama and wankery is really what you want, then do it. I've found that people often respond with, "Yeah! It really pissed me off!" and then they shut up about it, because they feel like they were heard, understood, and that their dissenting view was treated with respect.

And I do this with respect. I mean it, because I believe that people wouldn't be harping about how hurt they felt if they weren't actually hurt.

Therapy's not a bad thing. Nor is needing it. We could all benefit from having someone help us figure out how to better lead our lives.

Sadly this one thing doesn't work with her. We tried, I was even on her side for a moment, then it all starts again to the point of being tiresome. They just don't shut up. i don't say they aren't hurt, but there are better place to look for comfort than anon meme. Friends, family, doctor.
