Except she has nothing to do with that. That's all thanks to the writer(s), not her. Yes, she's often typecast as such characters, but her RL personality is nothing to admire (from what I know of it, at least).

Actors are allowed to influence how they'll portray their characters, though. And that is what we consume, anyway.

As for her personal life, like with any other famous person, I'm not interested in that.

That's true -- perhaps that's why all the characters she plays strike me as being exactly the same, haha.

I can't say I'm interested in her life either, but it's almost impossible to not run across celebrity news in our modern world. Some stuff about her stuck, and I can't ignore it. I do admire you though; for being able to see actors as blank canvases!

I have heard news of other famous people, but I try not to dwell much on it, because they're just actors, singers, and other such things. They're people doing a job. I try to stick to the "celeb persona" (you know, all smiles and rainbow farts).

Not to say that in my younger years I didn't fall into the media whirlwind, but nowadays I couldn't care less.

It's not something admirable, though. I'm just being lazy. Imagine having to write constantly in celeb forums, defending a celeb's latest transgression!

Personal TLDR coming up!

You know, I had been recently wondering on making this very same secret! Of course now, not a secret since I'm not anoning...

I'm pretty sure I first saw her in Girl Fight, and I really liked her & the chara's strength. I didn't see the first Fast movie (and when it was on tv i didn't pay much attention so half knew she was in it) and really wasn't till the sci-fi ones where she really grabbed my attention.

With her, at first. I thought she was relatable, not many latinas on screen and most were lighter/sexier/prettier(she is sexy and beautiful but not the Hollywood type you know?) so she was someone I could relate to. And then early in HS I believe, I started to think of her when it came to talking about celebs we'd wanna be with/do. Like she was the exception to the male list and I didn't think much about what that meant till my 20s when I finally came to terms that I am bi (though now I think myself more pan).

But yeah, she was the first and will always be my fave. And it's cool what you're going through! Maybe she's your only exception or maybe she's the gateway! I've learned sexuality is all fluid. Just embrace the awesomeness that she is! =D
