(Anonymous) 2012-05-06 12:23 am (UTC)(link)I really wish that in the Boiling Rock, they would have had a confrontation that effected Mai's character. It would have given her character a lot more strength to realize everything she had ever been taught was a lie. It would give a lot of strength to her betrayal of Azula too; she's changed her way of thinking, not just liking Zuko too much. It would also have their relationship change and be 'redeemed' rather than just... they were good together when Zuko was angsty and doing the wrong thing, and it'll totally work out now that Zuko has betrayed his country (as far as Mai is concerned). I want her to realize what the fire nation really is and should be if she's going to be in the tea shop and everything.
