For a fandom that big, it's really quite a surprise that you can hardly find anything Mai/Ty Lee concerned. I mean, there's pretty much nothing on ff.net, and while I was really happy when I found a Mai/Ty Lee community on LJ, it was never really active and hasn't been updated since November 2010. I'm sooo~ disappointed! .__.

Same here. I love both Ty Lee and Azula, but they seemed toxic together just as friends, let alone girlfriends.

Me too. The fandom may be big, but it seems to focus on a select group of pairings. Occasionally, rare pairs get attention, but even then, it's just from one or two people. Shameless pimping ahead, but I wrote a Mailee one-shot (http://fanfiction.net/s/7569661/1/Tightropes_and_Knives) myself once, just to give them some well-deserved attention.
