She LOVES both DW and HS and really wants to do a crossover just like that, srsly. don't remember if it was Ten or Eleven but she really wants to pit the Doctor and the Condesce against each other. :D

And...um there are lots of HS crossovers and lots of fans (like me) who like them. I suppose it depends on where you go...I've yet to see a storm of rabid fans yell at someone for making a crossover but then I'm not really that active and hardly ever go on Tumblr so

I've seen fanart for that and nobody was complaining about it! Not sure what above anon is talking about, but then again I have no part in the tumblr fandom because it seems a little batshit crazy
