(Anonymous) 2012-05-07 04:18 am (UTC)(link)Basically, there was a secret that said something along the lines of "I feel sorry for women who aren't sopranos because they can't sing Disney princess songs." The comments exploded with altos saying how annoying soprano elitism is, and then a couple of sopranos started getting all defensive and accusing everyone else in the thread of being butthurt. At some point someone actually said that the OP had "soprano privilege" and I'm not sure if they were being sarcastic or not.
And now I really wish I could remember when that secret was posted, because some of the responses to that thread were hilarious.
