Plus, even if Bones didn't want the baby, I bet Booth would have found a way to get custody of his daughter. While I also wish they hadn't gone with the baby plot, I can't see them doing through with the adoption plot.

Yeah, but that would have made SO MUCH MORE SENSE. It would still have resulted in more babies on the show, granted, but if Booth had taken custody (and then ended up not living with Bones) it would have made so much more sense character-wise. Well, an abortion is actually what I'd see Bones doing, but failing that (and knowing Emily was pregnant) - I'd have preferred the Booth-taking-custody-as-a-single-dad plot a million times more. But I bet that would piss off the shippers.
