I can't speak for anywhere else, but where I live that's not the case at all. There's actually a race-war going on between the hispanics and asians, and the 'asian section' of town is actually one of the most dangerous sections as far as crimes like muggings go.

I'm not saying that any other race is any 'better' or anything - from my understanding the level of violence tends to be pretty even across the scale...but your experience =/= everyone's.

Well, that makes sense, in a way. Hispanics and asians are both tiny - they could actually fight each other without it being ridiculously unfair.
