Honestly, the amount of slutshaming that came after this episode was disgusting. But Asami gets the worst of it. I saw someone make a macro basically saying "whores ruin everything - just like in real life". They were called out, thank god, and of course their excuse was the biggest bs I've read. It was all "omg, guys, it was just a joke. And it's just a fictional character. Why are you calling me sexist anyway, I'm a FEMINIST." Oh gee, sorry, here I was, thinking you were a vile misogynist. But now that you've revealed yourself as a feminist, please continue to use gendered slurs towards fictional women whose only crime is that they're standing in the way of your OTP. And I'm sure that your "in real life" remark was not directed towards non-fictional women but just hyperbole.

Okay, yeah, there was some more or less honest sounding apology too, but to me, it sounded more as if they had no idea why what they said was offensive and just took it down because others were offended, not because they realised that they had done something wrong.

Urgh that's just disgusting and sad. I remember checking out the LoK tag on tumblr because I hate myself and the first one I saw was something about Asami being a huge slut and killing the trio (?).
