(Anonymous) 2012-05-12 04:28 am (UTC)(link)But I guess that's because when I was a teenager my older relatives treated fandom as the stupidest thing ever, and even if I would help her now, it would be akward as hell, because there would be this little voice in my head telling me "sure it's alright? Isn't it stupid?" and other voice telling me "You know it's not. You have to support her as you wished they had supported you."
