That's an interesting viewpoint. I have to admit, I ship it even harder than Cain/Riff, so I never really considered their relationship in such a way. But I can see it, especially in later chapters.

Same here. I can see the appeal and logic of shipping, but I sooo prefer them as just extremely important to each other or a paternal bond. I just...don't personally see anything romantic or sexual about them, but that's just me. Besides, I don't think Jizabel's mentally healthy enough for an intimate relationship. I see him as asexual.
