Oh, anon. ;_;

I've been lucky enough to be able to take my dogs wherever I've moved, but I can still relate to the idea. If your parents loved your dog as much as you did, she's had a good life. And hopefully, when the time is right, you'll find another dog you can have in NYC.

Try to celebrate her life, and not live in sorrow for what might have beens.
