Well, the organization's name is different from calling yourself a "Man in Black" when you're a woman.

I don't see why. Man is technically masculine and OP is apparently female. Clearly she didn't write it as the name of the group since it's a) not capitalized and b) not the correct title of the group (man in black vs Men in Black). She is saying she "wants to be a woman in black" not that she "wants to be part of the Men in Black."

Grammar logic, get some.
