He really is. It takes some acting chops to make your audience hate you so much. I can't fucking staaaaand Theon so he's doing a really good job.

It's confusing me so much, I loathe him and love him simultaneously and in equal measure. THAT LAST FRAME OF THE RECENT EP.

I just want an ENTIRE EPISODE with Theon/AshaYara hanging out snarking at each other. Maybe with some more vaguely incestuous horse riding and AshaYara being the best troller in all of Westeros.

Definitely read the book if you haven't! The Theon trolling goes on for pages and it is amazing. I was sad it was cut so short in the show.

I think the amazing part about it is his nuance. Theon is a total asshole but you can also see his total bewilderment at his own actions in Alfie's performance.

"Total bewilderment at his own actions" is such a great way to put it. He did a great job conveying "What the fuck have I done?" in a silent facial expression after he beheaded his old teacher.
