I hope you're the OP of that secret, because that's not a great assumption to make about people. Especially because the OP of this one said above that fandom was only the first step for them and they spent a while figuring things out apart from fandom.

Maybe I'm reading your comment wrong and if so, I'm sorry, but it feels pretty common for people to nitpick where someone's sexuality comes from if they're queer, and that's got a lot of pretty creepy implications about heterosexuality as a default setting. Maybe some people come out of the womb gay, maybe some start out wibbly-wobbly and come into their preferences through experience, but does it really matter? I'm sure a lot of people were "Pavlov'd" straight, and nobody ever really talks about that unless the person turns out later on to be not so straight.
