I like reverse Bangs a lot better actually -- they really get the creative juices flowing, since the artist has to ponder what kind of art could work for a hypothetical fic and when the writer claims art, she has to figure out a fic that fits the art. So much more interesting and creative than a regular Bang, which is basically just illustration (not to dump on regular Bangs, I just think they're far simpler and more likely to cause disappointment from the creator of the original work).
