LMAO. Not liking things aimed at people 20 years younger than you != not knowing how to have fun.

I told my mom that she should start living vicariously through the fictional adventures of teenagers right away or it means she's a frowny frump. I think she and my dad are still laughing.

Maybe you just never got to really have a life. I'll leave you to write your cat lady fantasies now. :(

And we'll leave you to your sheltered, judgmental existence. Have fun with that.

Are they also laughing about how they managed to raise a completely rude brat? Lols for the whole family!

For some reason, you're assuming that all I watch/read fic for are things for teenagers. I'm wondering why you're even caring about what a stranger on the internet does or doesn't do in his spare time.

Actually in the case of TV programs in particular, you'll find many shows are aimed towards a viewership in the 25-45 age range*, because it attracts more advertisers, which means higher revenues for the network that is airing the show (*people in the 25-45 age bracket generally having more disposable income, and therefore being the sort of target market an advertiser would want to promote their product(s) to). Unless you're talking about something like children's television, or shows aimed at 'tweens' and their parents, I think you'll find it far less common for a majority of TV shows to be aimed primarily at an age range below 20, for the simple fact that, generally speaking, most people below that age don't tend to have a high amount of disposable income, and therefore just aren't as attractive to advertisers looking to promote their products.
