Yeah. My older brother and I have a massive age gap to the point where it's actually basically a generation gap (12 years) and our relationship has never been anything like I've ever seen in any show. Like, we alternate between being horrible to each other (and I don't mean friendly teasing/bickering, I mean like, reaching for the worst insult we can think of just to get the other one away) and awkwardly hanging out and being self-pitying together. I write a lot of friendly sibling relationships but mostly based off of what I wish I could have ever had.

though, on the bright side, it means I've always been nice to my friends' younger siblings, even when they were being brats or my friends encouraged me to tease them.
