Yeah...I admit, the endings to Portal 2, and both L4Ds made me a bit sad with the implications.

Eh, I was satisfied with both endings we got for the respective games. They seemed realistic.

I want the cast of L4D2 to get an ending too.

I am crossing my fingers that we're going to get DLC or a comic or something that will show what happens to the L4D2 cast after the military picks them up. Especially since The Parish establishes that the military is killing ordinary people to stop the virus, and The Sacrifice comic shows some really similar stuff.

I'd be satisfied just knowing that they made it out alive.

i was sad bill died but i think if valve was gonna make it happen, bill was best suited for it.

i'm not sure which part of portal 2 has you feeling the way you do (the text colours are throwing me off - do you mean atlas and p-body, or chell and wheatley?) but re: wheatley i'm still sad he's in space. idk what happened to craig but i know rick and space core are still in space too, and i know they're just cores and we shouldn't give that much of a shit but it still bothers me (even for space core; there's a voice clip of him basically admitting he's scared and wants to leave space but they never used it in the game).

if you've read the developer commentary you know that valve mulled over what to do with wheatley in the end for awhile. they considered killing him or letting him off the hook but settled on leaving him in space as a happy medium between the two extremes.

valve certainly isn't known for making third editions in a franchise but i'd like another left 4 dead game, and i'd REALLY like another portal game. since wheatley isn't dead it would be feasible for them to incorporate him into a new game.

that being said though i really doubt that's going to happen, at least not with chell in the game. i think they wrapped up her story pretty well; we see that she's made it out and is clearly capable of walking so it's not like her escape would be a repeat of the first game's ending. i mean i guess she could be like dang we left wheatley up there i better go back to aperture and somehow save him

but lbr that's not gonna happen

tbh tho i really want a portal 3 that's just a blue sky adaptation lol

It'd involve a lot of bread-making and homemaking like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, and target shooting and 'hacking' Foxglove like a Bioshock machine in the middle of the story, bookended with falling sequences like Journey, setting explosions, and about 5 straight hours of the most strenuous, exhausting tests you can think of. Not sure it'd make the best game, because the game mechanics would be all over the place.

Maybe you mean you want a movie of Blue Sky?
