I want to see a variation on it... if only because the heart-wrenching, emotional parts are so exactly what I love (I'm kind of an angst-fan, lol). But if they try to do the whole thing.. it'd be a mess.

I guess a variation on it might be interesting, but I would hope they'd wait a few movies before trying it. These people just came together, I don't want to see them pulled apart so soon. And, as I said, I don't know the whole story so I don't know where which character stands on the issue, just that Tony and Steve were on opposite sides. Where does the rest of the established movie!team fall?

Oh yeah, I definitely agree it'd have to be a long ways in the future. I think really my favorite aspect would be the Superhuman Registration Act, and seeing where everyone goes with that.. I don't even really want to see Tony and Steve on opposite sides of it -- and I really don't want to see Steve die, so. xD;

My biggest concern, really. I doubt they'd do it, but still. I don't want to see that particular part of the story play out on screen.

tbh everyone's reasons for supporting the registration act seemed completely moronic because the act was so crappily written (from what I can tell at least -- one of the things that really pissed me off is that the writers never actually spelled out an official details of what the fuck everyone had their panties in such a twist over), and that's even with decades of continuity. So I find the idea of forcing a movie team to divide up in a movie series with, what, three movies? Four at the very most? When the first movie only spans, like, two days? to be kinda ridiculous.

Also wasn't Tony all "this is my private shit back the fuck off" at the Senate hearings in Iron Man 2? (haven't watched it in a while admittedly so maybe I'm misremembering).
