My advice would be to write the scene as it's supposed to be, whether or not you like it, leave it there for a few days while you work on the other parts, then go back and edit it.

Lots of readers (who don't write) don't really understand what writers call "writer's block". But boy do writer's feel it! That said, anything you write when you're in a slump will feel shitty, so letting it sit for a few days without even THINKING about it definitely helps you look at what you've written with a whole new perspective! I know I've gone back and been pleasantly surprised by things I thought were horrible when I actually wrote them.
