This struck a nerve... my optic nerve. God no.

Also, as to the content, I am one of those feminist women. In high school, one of the school's football stars stared stalking me. It sucked. It isn't fun, it isn't romantic, it isn't flattering, and seeing tweens, teens, and even adult women call Edward pulling the same crap I went through sweet and romantic just reminds me of how when I told my principal and teachers I was afraid for my life, they told me I should be flattered, and oh, wasn't it romantic that he loved me that much.

On the other hand, a lot of the people who make fun of it are making fun of it because of the sparkly vamps and the fact that teenage girls like it instead of teenage boys, which is pretty repulsive.
