This is why I absolutely hate communities like fanficrants. With their feelings of inflated self-importance the only thing that matters to them is how horrible these writers are for dirtying their fandoms. They never think about the people behind the story that they are horribly slicing to bits and pieces. Good concrit is needed to form great writers, but these communities never provide it. I wish people would not go to such places. x__x

Depends. There are a number of rants - on both sides - on ffrants that actually do have a point in what they're saying. Could they stand to be a little nicer about it? Maybe...but it *is* a rant community, and the internet and that, sadly, comes with the territory.
