We-ell, I'm more inclined to think of it as people making a sandbox into a public works department. The ones who write all those long tracts about trying to see the bigger picture generally have good intentions.

Some stuff, like people warning their fics properly so readers can avoid stuff that would bother them, I agree with. The idea that my hobby needs to have, like, set guidelines by which to write, I don't.

I think warnings are a good thing, but I do hate when people DEMAND warnings when it's just as easy to click 'back' when they see something they don't like.
