I agree with everything you just mentioned, anon. I also want to add that I think it may be easier for others to view Nazis in a certain view because, well, look what the media and Hollywood has done to these figures. Take films, comic books, etc. and see how they perpetuate Nazis. Yes, they're still evil in most of these works but it feels like they come across as almost being cartoony evil, which makes it okay for some to view them in a sinister-yet-sexual way.

After all, let's use Indiana Jones as an example. Most of the series uses Nazis with one exception: the second one, Temple of Doom. Unfortunately, India and Hinduism were targeted by a lot of unfair stereotypes that were regarded as being so awful for its use that it was considered a racist film (which yes, I agree it is very racist). Hence why the rest of the Indiana Jones films are all Nazis. Why? Because with Nazis, there really is no gray terms. Mostly, they are just regarded as pure simplistic evil. They make great villains, especially in historical fiction because their very being is symbolic.
