01. In my experience, I like my online (and convention) friends better because we actually have things in common. I don't even know what to talk about with my RL friends anymore.
18. Sort of agree. I love anime, but I love other stuff, too, and I wish I didn't feel like I'd be judged for actually watching -gasp- American animation. Neither is particularly superior to the other, imho, there are good and bad shows regardless of where a show comes from or who made it. (All those pictured, though? Good stuff.)
20. Growing is good. I've had to deal with enough crap from people over what I like and I've learned that you can't let it bother you - enjoy yourself. Be happy. The people who really care are going to stick by you no matter what fandom you're in.
