1. It is a bit upsetting when people ignore anything for an addiction, and online can definitely become a consuming addiction or escape. However, some of us just really aren't interested in the things that most of our RL friends want to do. When I'm on vacation, I like going out and sightseeing. While I'm here, I love having picnics and reading in the park and just taking walks. ERrrrr, my friends just want to get high, drunk, or meet up with boys that I don't care to interact with :O but maybe I just met the wrong crowd? In the end, I hardly have any time for RL friends or OL friends, and OL takes less energy, lol. I'd rather be alone in nature either way than spend time on the computer or with stoners ;B

It's not good to shut yourself off completely, though. At all.

oh and 18. I love avatar and kim possible but i hate those other two shows D: I guess it's just all about personal taste? I get deeper stories and that aren't afraid to portray icky icky gayz with manga and anime, while I get better humour with Kim Possible.

Oh and even though I adore The Simpsons, Futurama, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, KP, etc. , D: sometimes it's more fun to follow up a story that continues where it left off the last episode, rather than there always being a new one dimensional villain or plot device or something (though, I love kim possible since it kind of spoofs that).

Well, I think if the only people around you are idiots, then it's better not to hang out with them. What I was trying to say though, was that it makes me upset when people are like, "Today, my friends invited me to see a movie. But I decided to stay home and read fanfiction instead. ♥"

There is a balance, and I've lost more than my share of good online friends to "real life" so I'm not saying stop fandoming. There's just no need to shut yourself out from the rest of the world when there are other people who care about you in it.
