I get bitched at for calling him "Raito" because OMGWTFFANGIRLJAPANESE!!11 In reality I only call him that because "Light" is a really stupid name. All the non-Japanese names in that series are so incredibly stupid.

The real question is, what kind of Japanese mother would name their kid Light in English? All the other names in the family are perfectly normal, but NO! Let's name our first-born son after an English NOUN!

I agree, Raito is a million times better than Light.
At least he wasn't named Train... XD
