18. Why oh why is it so hard for people to appreciate BOTH types of animation?! I hate it when people think of me as less of an anime/American animation fan because I like BOTH. One or the other mentalities suck.

They both have their bad qualities. Like those squeaky animes/harem animes that are really low-budget or those really vulgar cartoons that Americans like to produce with lots of bathroom and/or penis jokes. XD;;

Either way, they both have their good qualities and are both awesome. I don't get why people have to be jerks about it. It's like the comic book/manga thing going on. XP

It's stupid.

People just love to not get along. D:

Pfft, South Park and Family Guy are brilliant.

Or, failing that, really fucking funny.

XDD They are. But the vulgarity sometimes bothers me.

But hey, that's just me.

I'm a big proponent for the de-tabooing of vulgarity in comedy, so I find it lovely. The comedic value of vulgarity is greatly underappreciated, IMO.

Different strokes for different folks.

I don't have a problem with it, personally, though. Definitely not one of those people who like...protests against it or anything. XP I just don't watch it, is all.

And yes, very true. XD; A lot of people really don't get that concept.
