Something else to look at... in the DW account settings, Display tab, there's this:
New Comment Link Indicator
[_] Adds the comment count to entry links. Your browser should display links in a different color if there are new comments since your last visit.
I don't see this option in the Display optioins in DW. Am I just missing something obvious....?
