But seriously thanks for the move, sometimes LJ's stupid new comments don't even expand for me, and I loved stalking comment threads but it just got way too aggravating when I couldn't read them half the time. Maybe I'll even submit stuff this time around!

Help with style/layout?

Anyone have tips for layouts? I've seen some tutorials for custom layouts, but I fail bigtime at CSS.

Right now I have the "Dreamer" style - but I'm not too happy with it. It just feels clunky. I just want a streamlined look with no space between the entries and overall feeling of simplicity. I was using Minimalism (Randomness) over at LJ and liked it alright. It wasn't perfect, but I like it better than any of the ones I've seen here.

With DW's importer it was really easy, I just had to hit like three buttons.

The comment importing is messing up, though. Asked DW support about it, waiting to see if anything can be done.

I've been a huge fan of Dreamwidth(the concept) since I got into it last year. To see one of LJ's biggest comms making the move is exciting, and hopefully can help with the struggling fandom here on LJ by bringing in more LJ users.\
